Reports to Non-Invasive Operations Manager. Participates in clinical procedures and patient care a minimum of 50% of time, including equitable call coverage. Has direct oversight of department operations on a daily basis. Fiscal responsibility for assigned area regarding staffing, inventory management and function, providing accurate documented reports to Manager per dept. plan. Responsible for ensuring documentation standard compliance per dept procedure/plan. Responsible for implementation of staff education, competency and licensure/certification requirements; participates in employee hire, termination, evaluation processes; responsible for implementation and adherence to customer service and employee satisfaction action plans. Works with Manager to achieve staff, procedure, and technology and research development. Works with other departments across the facility to develop and implement Service Line improvements and facility initiatives.(wow gold www.bookwowgold.com )Actively participates in assessing quality, provision of statistical data regarding database parameters, and implements PI initiatives in the dept. Ensures staff participation in all aspects of dept function and development. Assists Manager with contract negotiation, monitors compliance. Acts as initial liaison for physician needs and issues, maintaining adequate communication with Manager in regard to issues, action steps and/or assistance in resolution.

Requirements:

Graduation from an AMA approved allied health degree program with the appropriate registration/licensure required; bachelors degree in business/health care management preferred.


Minimum two years vascular sonography experience required, with effective performance of all types of vascular US procedures; OR b) Minimum two years vascular sonography experience in all types of procedures, with graduate of a recognized CVT program preferred. One-two years experience direct assistance in oversight of staffing and operations, financial and budget familiarity, program/service development and implementation. Good communication skills with both staff and physicians required. Effective experience in staff education in areas of procedures performed, technology, quality assurance and customer service. Familiarity with functions of other Heart and Vascular departments preferred.

Registered Cardiovascular Technologist/Sonographer strongly preferred for hire (otherwise, is registry eligible and registry must be obtained within 18 months of hire to maintain position); Current BLS HCP Certification ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of and maintained after hire.
